SPEEDEE HELPS SUBSTATION BUILD INFRASTRUCTURE
Speedee Transport provided logistics solutions to Hydro to complete a multi-million dollar upgrade to the Como Lake Substation to help meet growing electricity demand.
Hydro trusted Speedee to help with the important substation upgrade that required stringent timelines or special handling for transporting units to upgrade the electrical system. The stations receive high voltage power from transmission lines and transform that power to a lower voltage so it can be distributed to commercial manufactures and residential regions. The parts, equipment, and modules required careful coordination and handling procedures which Speedee provided throughout the entirety of the project. This was one of the largest expansions of electrical infrastructure in the province’s history.
